Young Social Workers Network

Started by Manaswani Saxena Bhushan – a young social worker herself, Young Social Workers Network (yswn) is a community of social workers and members of the development sector which comes together to learn, exchange ideas, and create core memories through meaningful experiences!

Started with a simple thought of helping out young and aspiring social workers who were seeking guidance, by creating a safe space where they could experiment, learn, express, and prepare themselves before they venture into the world of ‘making a difference’, yswn, today is a growing circuit that works as a systematic institution.

About the Founder

I, Manaswani Saxena Bhushan am a proud graduate from Miranda House (University of Delhi) where I got the exposure to understand the many social issues that surround us. With a passion in my heart to dive head first into learning more, and a fire in my belly to make a difference, I moved on to studying social work. With years into the sector, while I am deeply invested in carrying out interventions as a professional, supervising several batches of interns, and working with youth, I also noticed a major gap in the overall skill and capacity of new social workers, and the need of the circuit – which brought me to my calling – founding yswn in 2024!

The Team

Divyansh Bhardwaj
Technical Solutions Adviser

DBC is a passionate tech enthusiast with a knack for teaching and problem-solving. Driven by curiosity, they excel in Java, Spring frameworks, and full-stack development. Creative and detail-oriented, they also enjoy building intuitive websites. Their enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge makes them an inspiring and dynamic individual.

You’re right. I am DBC.

Amit Kumar Chaudhary
Design and Marketing Adviser

If design had a superhero, I’d probably be rocking the cape (and yeah, I’d design it myself). With over 5 years of experience in graphic design, branding, and user experience, I don’t just make things look good—I make them unforgettable.

When I’m not busy turning pixels into perfection, you’ll probably find me cracking mimicry acts, hitting the field (because athleticism is my secret weapon), or brainstorming wild ideas that make my team say, “Wait… that might actually work!”

Alok B Sini
Engagement Consultant: Experience

Hey, I’m Alok B! I’m a social worker with a need for speed—whether it’s racing cars or racing to help those in need. As an MSW student at Amity University Noida and the co-founder of an NGO, I believe in making a real impact, one step (or one gear shift) at a time. Helping people isn’t just my work—it’s what makes me feel truly blessed. When I’m not out making a difference, you’ll probably find me cooking up something delicious, hitting the road for a long drive, or talking about anything and everything (seriously, I can talk for hours!). Proudly Malayali and always up for a good laugh, I bring the energy wherever I go.

Nikhil Kumar Singh
Engagement Consultant: Onboarding

I’m Nikhil part time social worker full time social butterfly. A student of MSW and previously History I am passionate about all things social work.Growing up in a close knit rural community I strongly believe that it is the core of everything. My work is motivated by the desire to make all communities I’m a part of better and sustainable. When not working you can find me running away to the mountains, listening to qawwalis, playing volleyball or trying to invent new recipes while cooking (because who says I can’t invent the next great dish?)

Rintumon K Anil
Creative Visibility Consultant

I am Rintumon, people who know me call me Rinzy.

A social worker at heart and a creative soul by nature, I bring stories to life through visuals, music, and design. As yswn’s Creative Visibility Consultant, my job is to make sure our work doesn’t just exist—it stands out.

Born and raised in Delhi with deep Malayali-Bengaluru roots, I’m a mix of cultures, perspectives, and (let’s be honest) food cravings. You’ll usually find me lost in music, strumming my guitar, capturing moments through my lens, or zooming off on my bike in search of the next great mountain or next cozy meal. Being an ambivert, I balance deep conversations with moments of quiet creativity, but one thing stays constant—I’m always creating, always exploring
